"The earth has music for those who listen."
William Shakespeare

Good books, poetry, music, architecture, scientific breakthroughs, and nearly all forms of the visual arts are flint to my fascination and appreciation for the creative process.
But it is the sublime grandeur and infinite variety of all God's creations that is the greater source of joy, wonder, awe, and wisdom that nourishes my soul.
During my career, I was afforded countless opportunities to express myself both verbally and visually--most notably at an agency where I had the daily privilege of imagining and executing innovative concepts.
Now in retirement, I can seriously pursue photography and personal prose.  The opportunities to learn and improve--both artistically and technically--are endless, as is the joy of observing the world more intentionally with a photographer's and writer's sensibility.
I hope my images and words offer you a small measure of joy for the miracles all around us.
Special thanks to Nancy, my wife and best friend for more than 50 years, whose encouragement, support, and creative talents motivate me to be better.
